Florin Educational Series

Court Advocate Volunteer Training
The next session of court advocate volunteer training begins on Tuesday, October 19 and will continue on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for 13 sessions (no trainings will be held on Veterans Day and the week of Thanksgiving).  This 40-hour program trains volunteers to assist domestic violence victims as they await their restraining order hearings in Essex County Family Court.  If you would like to participate in this session or a future session, please contact Suzanne Groisser, Esq., Rachel Coalition Coordinator of Legal Services at 201-407-3243 or sgroisser@jfsmetrowest.org.
