RACHEL COALITION ENDOWMENT FUNDS

Rachel Coalition Legal Endowment:
This fund helps to support a comprehensive range of legal programs and services to meet the legal needs of families impacted by domestic violence in our community.  The fund also helps support our pro bono attorney and court advocate coodinator.

Rachel Coalition Safe House Endowment:
The Safe House represents an important component in the Coalition's continuum of services for victims of domestic violence.  Often the very fact that the Safe House exists locally, encourages women to come forward and access support services.  This fund ensures that women and their children have a safe and secure place to live during their transition time.

Rachel Coalition 24 Hour Hotline Endowment:
This funds represents a crisis intervention hotline for victims of domestic violence. The beeper service averages 50 calls per month from both victims and others calling on behalf of victims.  It is through these calls, that clients gain access to the Coalition's resources and are encouraged to engage in direct counseling or accept temporary shelter through the Coalition's Safe House or other emergency resources.
